As the year of 2009 came to an end, vowing to God to help someone each month… That’s Blessings on Wheels Founder, Stephanie Rockmore vision.. So she asks, what’s yours?
I found myself feeling a measure of gratitude that led me to take a look around at my life, noticing how blessed I am and then asking myself…. what can I do to help someone? My humbleness and gratitude was to God for getting me to a point in life where I realized that everyone can be a paycheck away from being homeless. Now realizing how the slow recovery from the recession has impacted so many lives, I am destined to make a difference with my vision.
As we travel this road, our needs continue to be too numerous to count but, caring for Others will continue to be our vision in bringing hope and happiness to the many individuals and families we serve. We are still hopeful that the rebounding economy will result in more people, organizations and businesses joining us in our vision of caring for others. It’s my vision in which we strongly believe and with that, I ask, what’s yours?
